Angela Gossow Urach

Angela Gossow grew up in Cologne with three other siblings. At the age of 17, her parents separated. Further financial troubles came in the event that their company went into bankruptcy. Her situation was further complicated because of her anorexic and bulimic. Concerning her decision to quit as the singer of ARCH ENEMY Gossow explained that there's the right time and the proper place for every thing. The first time I began was in 1991. Simply, I began to lose interest in doing all this while living in a constantly changing environment. Instead of feigning it I quit, I decided to stop. The group was initially fronted Johan Liiva, who was then substituted by German vocalist Angela Gossow. In 1986, the Australian vocalist John Farnham recorded the song "You're The Voice".
