Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss one of most popular and successful Country Musicians born on the 23rd of July 1971 in Decatur Il in the US. LeAnn Kymes and she were two of the earliest winners of the Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss was born in July 1971. Alison is a bluegrass and country singer. She started in the industry as a child, when she was just 10 years young. She signed with Rounder Records in 1985 and recorded her first single album, a solo one in the year 1987. The album was also a part of the group Alison Krauss Union Station where she continues to perform. Later, in 1989 her first solo album came out with them.

Ormond was born in Epsom, Surrey, the daughter of Josephine who was a laboratory technician and John Ormond, a stockbroker. Ormond is the 2nd child of five children for her parents. At first, she attended Guildford High School and then Cranleigh School. There, her early lead performances in Guys and Dolls and My Fair Lady were noticed.
