Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England), is an English artist and singer. Ellie Goulding rose quickly to the top with her electronic pop music after getting the attention of people through her hit songs "Starry Eyed," along with "Guns and Horses" in the year 2010. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has an unique soprano scream and a knack to write songs that are emotional with positive lyrics. Similar to her peers Kate Bush or Imogen, she is at forefront of contemporary mainstream pop as well as arty independent music. She ultimately signed a major-label deal with Polydor Records and began making arrangements for her debut album.
